Lascaux (pronounced Lasco) was established in 1995, by its current directors, to provide design services to the technology industry with a specific emphasis on quality. The directors, who are all degree qualified, have over 30 years combined experience working in various fields of technology design and consulting.
The company has worked on technology projects ranging from small device driver and application developments for diverse platforms, through medium-sized projects involving development of the hardware and software for complete consumer products, to full-cycle design of complex safety-critical real-time embedded systems using structured design methodologies.
Shortly after formation, drawing upon the experience of employees, the company branched into network systems design, implementation and support. As the Internet grew and matured the company's in-depth knowledge of issues surrounding multi-protocol, multi-platform networks put it in an ideal position to offer additional consultancy services covering the emerging areas of security analysis, remote access/control and website development.
Our client base has varied from small dynamic technology start-ups in both the UK and US, through medium sized private companies, to large PLCs and multi-national enterprises. For those clients who demand the highest standards, Lascaux is a preferred supplier and thus much of our work is repeat business. Even today the company is still providing enhancements and support to its early clients, at the same time as forging partnerships with new ones.
